A Matter of Taste?

Forgive the crude pun, but oral sex is, after all, a matter of taste.  Some like it, some don’t, some like receiving, but not giving, and a few will give, but not receive.  For a long time, in some jurisdictions, it was illegal and in some places it still is.  Can you imagine the bust?  “Wait for it… Not yet… OK, That tongue definitely touched those genitals, kick the door in boys!!”

Surveys show that more than half of us don’t like going down, but 65% of love having someone go down on us.  Someone is missing out somewhere.  I am just glad it is not me.

There are plenty of places you go to look up, or look at, oral sex on the net, and it is a standard of every porn film I have ever watched.  But it seems that a lot of people are not confident in their technique, and are not sure if their partner is enjoying it.  First up, as with most aspects of porn, what you see depicted has little bearing on real life.  If you treat men’s  bits as roughly as Private and Vivid stars do, he is not going to enjoy it much.  (Although, this is a very general statement!)  Also, if you are as superficial in your cunnilingus as porn stars seem to be, the lady has little chance of getting off.

I find the best approach is to be gentle, and explore.  Really get to know the genitalia you are looking at.  Look at them, touch them all over, taste them.  Ask your partner what they want.  If they don’t know, or don’t answer, listen to their body language.  It is a pretty sensitive area, so too much stimulation can really be over the top.

Use fingers, tongue, teeth, lips, the whole mouth.  Every tool you have available  Most people, both sexes, find a tongue or finger gently probing the perineum mind blowing!  Men, start slow, and build up.  An advantage to this is that she will relax, and get really wet.  A mixture of her juices and your saliva makes for a really slippery ride later on!  Ladies, having someone inside you, after you have cum orally, is fucking mind blowing!

A lot of people’s reluctance comes from a bad experience with personal hygiene.  If you want head, make sure you are clean!  Men, soap thoroughly, pull back the foreskin, and wash your bum.  Women, clean thoroughly too, pull back all of the little folds of skin, and give them a good wash.  Clean your bum too.  In some positions, it is impossible to avoid the nose getting close to the anus, so cleanliness is not only a matter of courtesy, it prevents a potential mood killer!

A lot of women view a handjob or a blowjob as something to do to avoid sex.  I don’t really understand this, if you don’t want him inside you, why would you want him in your mouth??  My aim is to orgasm by giving a blowjob.  I met someone who can do this (not the person in the link), and I am almost insanely jealous!

As with all sex, the key is communication.  Verbal, obviously, but be prepared to pick up on non-verbal cues too.  The arched back, the sharply indrawn breath, the moving away.  And gentlemen, please don’t thrust like a wild thing when you are balls deep in someone’s mouth, the gag reflex is not sexy!
